The objective of the conference was promoted in scientific discovery, invention of new technologies and therapies. Dr.P.Arumugam, Managing Director, Armats Biotek Pvt.Ltd, Chennai inaugurated the conference.
MoU was signed between Vels University and Armats Biotek Pvt.Ltd.to pursue collaborative research works in Biotechnological applications of Marine and Terrestrial Micro-organisms.
Technical lectures were delivered on various fields of biotechnology like Industrial biotechnology, Food Biotechnology, Marine Biotechnology, Bioremediation and Fungal biotechnology by eminent scholars from industries and academic institutions.
